Some Shameful Sh@t

I was coming home this morning and past this mural and felt the need to pay my respects to a young brother who lost his life to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police last week. yesterday i learned that he was from my neighborhood when i stumbled upon his daily vigil 4 blocks away from my house. the situation is compounded by the fact that he was unarmed yet shot in the back while fleeing the police. the "official" story is that he was armed and revolver was found beside his dead body. the many witness strongly refute that claim.

this is a shameful chapter in Charlotte history.

sorry for the lack of posts. i had a enthusiasm hemmorage, which resulting in few posts, a few listfull outings and a mild case of seclusion. well the hemorrage has been stapled and bandaged. and i am currently on an IV drip to stabilize my enthusiasm. i will keep you posted on my status in the near future.

but i am battling back. june is controversy month as ordained by FRQ himself. so be prepared. dirty laundry will be put out on the front lawn for all the neighbors to see. toes may get stomped on, and you may be offended.

so exert just a little more patience, while i cook up a batch of totally offensive material.

...................and my co-worker sounds like this every morning. as soon as she hits the door, the words come flying out of her mouth like machine gunfire. so fast you cant duck, run, or hide. you are hit with a barrage of questions, comments, and rhetorical questions instantaneously. you know when you try to pay only half attention to someone and continue what you are doing. you cant with her. too much at once, overwhelming.

thank god its almost over.
