Valentine's is fast approaching. and if you know me, i have a real disdain for this day. but i will keep that to myself. i would rather get a colonoscopy than deal with this Valentine's garbage. i thought i could weasel my way out of it this year. in advanced i volunteered to work on Valentine's night. that was my fool proof plan of course. then i got into a situation, and we have been talking for a few weeks now and i am not yet convinced this is going somewhere. so of course, she asks about Valentine's. and i tell her i am working that night and i will be off on Monday and Tuesday. she was undeterred, "you dont' get off that late and you can bring your clothes with you to make a quick change." Damn!!! And i am on the phone wondering when i agreed to take her somewhere. so i have a dilemma.
so i was walking in Wal-Mart tonight and i heard a young lady tell her friend that she needs a present that says, will you be my boo? no mushy stuff, no love, no gimmicks, just be my boo and keep it moving.
she is most definitely a kindred spirit. when valentine's comes around, i scramble for something quaint and cheap that keeps me out the doghouse. now, i don't want to do too little, nor do i want to give off a false impression. i need the under $20 gift, that screams Happy V-day/don't get beside yourself, and lets ride this thang out a lil' bit longer. and a creative scheme to keep her content. so i will put this devious mind of mine to work and see what i come up with.
Valentine's is for lovers and if your situation doesn't fit in that category, you are fucked. just like me.

I cant go into too much detail because I refuse to commit treason to the entire race of women. Just make sure it seems thoughtful. Most ladies dont care how much it cost if it seems like you put some energy in to it. You can be thoughtful, and consistent with where you are in the relationship and still get your point across!

i say go to victoria's secret and get the 5 for $25 mix and match lotion, body spray,shower gel, and body cream set!
it's a little over $20 bucks but it will do and she should be happy! lol
i'm rockin' the boat with you this vday but i have requested my Tiffany & Co bracelet for vday and i better get it! hmph
